Kerr-Vance Academy

Kerr-Vance Academy was founded in 1968 as Vance Academy. In 1986 the Academy merged with Kerr Lake School, thus creating Kerr-Vance Academy. It is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational college preparatory day school. The Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools and the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association.
