Keva Juice
The Keva Juice concept began in 1995 when Scott Blake, Ray Blake, and a group of friends aka the Keva Tribe decided to create an upbeat yet upscale place where people could enjoy the best tasting smoothies made with the highest quality ingredients. One year later in 1996, the first Keva Juice opened its doors to the public in a wholesome town called Bountiful, Utah. The community embraced Keva Juice and began to call it the "blendsation". The Bountiful, Utah store is still opened to this day. The Keva tribe felt inspired to share the blendsation to other communities. In 1998, the Keva Tribe moved the headquarters to Albuquerque, New Mexico where they opened 12 more stores where once again the community embraced Keva Juice. Word spread about the world famous smoothies so the Keva headquarters decided to franchise its concepts to others. The first franchise store opened in 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona. Since then, Keva Juice has opened franchised stores from Nevada to Florida and every time zone in-between. Now communities all over are discovering the blendsation. Jennifer Thomas and her sidekick husband Gary brought the Keva Tribe to Reno in 2005 based on a passion for healthy living, simplicity, and fun. Now, ambassadors and trustees of the brand; Jennifer and Gary are committed to making fresh, premium, deliciously craveable smoothies accessible for everyone - landlocked and otherwise. Today, Keva fans enjoy exclusive blends from coast to coast. We at Keva hope our customers enjoy our creamy, fruity, taste-a-licious, creations because we like seeing you smile. I am text block. At the height of the great recession in 2009, Keva Juice downsized converting from a franchise to a cooperative. As a cooperative, Keva owners work together to ensure the best tasting, best quality, and most nutritional smoothies are served to our customers. Through an exclusive arrangement with the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Keva Juice opened within the RSCVA in April 2013. Keva Juice served its fresh, premium, deliciously craveable smoothies to visitors of Northern Nevada. Sparks on Vista re-opens. Located at the D'Andrea Shopping Center, this quaint little store became the busiest store in Northern Nevada overnight. Northwest Reno re-opens.
