Kittelberger's has been owned and operated by Willy E. Fuchs (deceased 9/89) and his family since 1940. Prior to taking over the business, Willy worked for the Kittelberger family since immigrating here from Germany in 1928. Together with his wife Pauline, daughter & son in-law Hilda and Martin Horeth, and their five children and spouses...the business has "grown" tremendously over the years. Starting with a very small store at the end of one greenhouse attached to the family home, our family was literally raised in the business with each generation learning from the previous one. We have expanded the buildings many times to our current over 22,000 square foot facility. Even though the house we grew up in has "grown" up to become the gift store, each of us still lives within walking or biking distance of the business. Although many things have changed over the years, Willy's commitment to providing the freshest product and the best service at a fair price is now being passed down to his 4th generation.
