Kiwivelo offers cycle training and English school packages and much more for cyclists, mountain bikers and triathletes. When the Northern Hemisphere is freezing cold this winter, it will be summer in New Zealand and the Kiwivelo training camp is based in Nelson, the sunniest city in New Zealand. But it is not just the weather that makes Nelson the perfect place to prepare for next season. The wonderful natural environment and clean air are fantastic, you will never want to go home, and there are more roads and bike tracks than you could ever ride in one summer. If just training is not enough there are many cycling, swimming and running club races on in Nelson every week. There is also the chance to get some 'easy' UCI points at the Tour of Southland or Tour of Wellington and the NZ Mountain Bike Series (UCI E2). The Ironman NZ is on each year in March and has 70 Kona slots available and the Challenge Wanaka in January, which is the world's most scenic iron distance triathlon. But besides these main events, there a plenty more that you can take part in throughout the whole summer.
