KJ Door Services

In 1983 Ken Dietterich saw the need for a local garage door company and founded K. J. Door Services with a used truck and one man, selling and repairing residential garage doors and openers. He started the business on his home property, in Woxall, using a laundry room for an office. The business began to grow, and he moved operations to his basement. In 1994, it was still growing and he now had five employees. Ken built a garage with an upstairs office, but the delivery trucks in and out of the driveway were getting to be too much. K.J. Doors rented a barn in Harleysville for a warehouse, while keeping the office in Woxall. That worked for a few years, but the paperwork was never at the correct location. Ken needed a location where the warehouse and office could be together. In 1998 K. J. Doors purchased the current location on Route 113 in Franconia Township. We have remodeled and added two warehouses over the past fifteen years, and we have continued to grow. We have expanded our products to include industrial, and commercial doors and related products as well as residential products. K. J. Door Services is a family owned and operated company with Christian values. The owner, Ken Dietterich, is still actively involved in the field and office. We now have fifteen employees and ten service trucks. Our installers and technicians are certified by IDEA. We have expanded our hours to be open on Saturday mornings, and we make a point of having a sales person in the office to help you, and try our best to have a person on the other end of the phone during our working hours.
