KLT Construction is a private limited company, established in 1997, registered with Gas Safe, Achilles, GIRS, ROSPA and the British Safety Council. KLT Construction has a combined workforce in excess of 400 people operating in the multi utility market. With access to circa 140 multi-skilled engineering teams we provide mains, service repair and replacement services to utility providers and main contractors. The majority of KLT Construction's work centres around the replacement of existing metallic gas mains with new plastic mains. The new plastic mains will serve to ensure a safe and reliable gas supply network is available to business and domestic customers for at least the next 80 years. Most of the time we are able to use the existing gas main to insert the new plastic main only resorting to open trench methods where absolutely necessary. This helps to reduce the time taken to carry out our works and also helps to reduce the potential disruption to residents and users of the public highway. We also carry out repair and maintenance works, gas infill projects and new pipelines installations. We have a full in house reinstatement service, and an independent plant and equipment hire company. We can also provide Vacuum excavation services, specialist mains drilling and gas stopping services as well as governor installation. From our base in North London we have established ourselves as a leading contractor and we are proud to support clients such as Skanska, Morrison Utility Services, Southern Gas Networks as well as working with other infrastructure businesses such as Matrix Networks Ltd. Through our significant experience in the utility sector we have delivered in excess of 750 kilometres of gas mains replacement and associated works over the last 9 years, we are committed to delivering projects safely, on time and within budget. Our aim is to engender a safety first culture throughout our workforce supported by an on-going training and development, ensuring we deliver excellent customer service every time.
