Knightscope was founded by William Santana Li and Stacy Dean Stephens. The Company was formed in response to the tragic shootings at Sandy Hook and the Boston bombings. Bill and Stacy knew that they could create an affordable platform to reduce both crime and the economic burden it places on every facet of society with the right fusion of technologies and social engagement. And by engaging the public in a fully transparent manner, Knightscope will bring safety and peace of mind while still respecting personal privacy. Knightscope’s autonomous technology platform is a fusion of robotics, predictive analytics, and collaborative social engagement utilized to predict and prevent crime. The company was incorporated in 2013 and is based in Mountain View, California.
