Koe Koe Tech

Koe Koe Tech is a law & computer science tech nonprofit operating in Yangon, Myanmar for the past 7+ years. We have 100+ employees, 95% of whom are Myanmar nationals and 55% women. Of our 40+ software... developers, designers, data scientists, AI researchers, 50% are women. We are working to democratize content moderation by advocating to social media companies and regulators to give the power back to civil society and journalists, especially in the Global South, to independently review social media platforms and have transparency and control over social media monitoring of incitement of violence, hate speech, and disinfo/misinfo.
