KOHOKU KOGYO

Kohoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established in 1959 in Shiga (near Kyoto), Japan. It is the recognized market leader in lead terminals for aluminum electrolytic capacitors and holds over 50% of the world's market share. Kohoku has factories in Japan, Malaysia and China (Dongguan and Suzhou). In 2000 Kohoku established the Optical Business Division and entered into the fiber optic component business. After only a few years, Kohoku became one of the world's major suppliers of multi-hole ferrules and multi-channel fiber array products.
