KOMAN Diversified Services, LLC (KDS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Natives of Kodiak, Inc. (NOK). NOK is one of the original corporations created by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1973, whereby the Alaska natives surrendered their ancestral land claims for "certain valuable considerations" that included federal government contracting preferences. KOMAN Diversified Services is a competent, financially sound, Small Disadvantaged Business that provides innovative goods and services to the U.S. Department of Defense, various Federal agencies, and the State of Alaska, as well as to its commercial clients. It offers selected Base Operations Support Services, Construction Management services, and General Contracting services to customers that need fast, efficient, and cost-effective products in order to meet compressed delivery time-lines and/or to take advantage of fleeting funding opportunities. KDS currently enjoys a $10M/$40M bonding capacity that it has acquired through its efficient operational and financial management. It brings that same ethic to the KOMAN Propper Government Apparel, LLC Joint Venture, where both it and its partner, Propper International™, deliver best-value products to its new government clients, manufacturing a variety of apparel.
