Kona Coast Vacations is the result of a dream of its two hardworking founders, Lorrie and Chris, who saw the potential for a higher standard in vacation rentals. Where owners can be at ease knowing their property is being rented and maintained, while their guests can truly relax knowing we are always nearby to attend to the little things that make a big difference. Through the magic of word of mouth, what started as a business managing four (4) properties has grown in nine years to over 160 vacation properties and over 70 long term rental properties, with the majority of these condos, homes and estates located along the Kona Coast of the Big Island (Hawaii). A third Partner, Ted was welcomed to the team in 2011. Ted was introduced to the company by renting a property through Kona Coast Vacations. Whether giving special care to our off-island owners or orienting first-time visitors to the magic of the island, our formula for success is so effective, we were nominated in 2014, 2015 and placed 18th in the fastest growing small businesses in the State of Hawaii. In 2015, Kona Coast Vacations managed over 26,500 rented nights, completed over 2,600 reservations and welcomed approximately 12,000 guests to the Big Island. Kona Coast Vacations has been fortunate teaming up with great property owners, which has been instrumental in assisting us in being ranked 18th out of 65 of Hawaii's fastest growing small businesses. This great team has been rewarded for their hard work by being rated excellent by FlipKey/Tripadvisor for 2013 and 2014. It appears Tripadvisor stopped providing ratings in 2015.
