Kosar company is one of the largest semi integrated poultry companies in Iraq, was founded 2003 in Erbil - Kurdistan region/ Iraq, as a specialized company in poultry farming and agricultural production. * Taq Taq poultry Breeder Project: is one of the largest chicken breeding project in Kurdistan region/ Iraq, producing more than 10 million hatching eggs per year. The project established on an area of 126 hectares, contains four fields; each field has four halls with a feed mill specific for the project. As well as it contains a hatchery with a capacity of 9 million eggs annually (7.5 million chick/ per year). And the area is cultivated with feed crops. * Kosar Feed Mill: is a modern feed factory in Kurdistan region/ Iraq, it's capacity is 10- 15 tons/ hour. The Factory constructed on an area of 5 hectares, and producing feed for each of broiler, laying hens, fish and ruminant feed with using modern equipment and raw materials from certified resources. * Etimad Slaughter house for Poultry: one of the oldest & Famous slaughter houses in Kurdistan region. It established on 1988, built on an area of 26 hectare and surrounded with agricultural land area planted with crops. It has been processed by the newly packaging machines for chicken portions and whole chicken. Working with a production capacity 1500 birds/ hour and the product are marketing directly to the markets as fresh and frozen. * Yellow Corn Dryer: is the first factory in Kurdistan region. with a capacity of 100 tons/per hour. Has been equipped with the latest modern devices and machines. * Cold Stores: Kosar company established five stores thermally controlled to be used as cooler and freezer, the volume of each one is 960 M3 they are used for the storage of fruits as well for frozen meat. * Rasty Laboratory: one of the most important sections of Kosar Company. It is as a diagnostic lab for poultry diseases.
