KOURAKUEN CORPORATION is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the operation of ramen noodle chain restaurants, Japanese udon restaurants and Japanese food restaurants. The Company operates in three business segments. The Ramen Noodle segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of ramen noodles and gyoza (dumplings), the sale of soups, noodles and other consumable goods, as well as the operation of franchise ramen restaurants throughout Japan. The Other Restaurants segment is engaged in the sale of Japanese udon and Japanese foods. The Others segment is engaged in the design, plan and construction of stores, the sale of kitchen equipment, as well as the insurance business and the advertising business.
