Krake

Krake was formed in 2007 by our managing director on his return from Australia where a similar company had been running successfully since 2003. Krake's intention is to provide professional, high quality business services to clients at comparable or slightly higher rates than internal staff but at much lower rates than big consultancies with no sacrifice in quality. What sort of company is Krake? Krake is a small, independent contractor consisting of our Director. We may, from time to time, engage other consultants within our network. Being independent allows us to work closely with the client team with no conflict of interest enabling us to offer our best, impartial advice. It also enables us to elicit feedback directly to tailor our approach, respond to urgent operational needs or address any issues with the minimum of delay. What sort of work does Krake do? Extensive experience in project management, development management, information analysis, enterprise and solution architecture has given us the tools and knowledge to counter a wide range of issues and mitigate risks. We can also offer the client team advice and guidance on how to approach problem solving in a rational way. What companies does Krake work with? Typically, our clients are large, multinational retail and investment banks. On occasion, we also work with smaller organisations that require skills in some of the specialisations we have. For example, we have worked with smaller start-ups in the areas of: out-of-band authentication (aligned with security and fraud); sustainable energy solutions (solution architecture and banking infrastructure); and renewable energy solutions (biomass energy modelling, business planning).
