Kraz Construction was started back in 1927. The company was originally started in Hamlet, Indiana. Kraz started as a homebuilder building many homes across Indiana and Illinois. In 1979 when the mortgage rates hit an all time high Kraz Construction focused on home improvements and has been a staple for Kraz since. Kraz specializes in windows, siding, soffit/fascia/gutters, gutter protection, doors, attic insulation, roofing, and fencing. Paul Kraz has been running the company for over 30 years and is a third generation of Kraz. His grandfather started the business building homes across the Chicagoland area. His father later took over the business with a location in Valparaiso, Indiana. Now 87 years later, Paul Kraz owns and operates the business with his partner Wayne out of our corporate location in Highland, IN. Kraz also has two additional branches located in Frankfort, IL and South Bend, IN. The Kraz formula is to start out by using higher quality building materials. Now no matter how good the product, we know that 70% of all product failures are due to improper installation. So the second portion of our formula is to have highly skilled installers who go through vigorous training and are updated with advanced concepts. While costing Kraz more this motto has been a key to our success. We feel if we can reduce service calls by better material and installers, we can manage servicing everyone and never feel overwhelmed.
