Kronieskie Huty Szka "KROSNO" S.A. (KROSNO glassworks) is the leader of the industrial glass market in Poland. It can also boast a strong position in export markets. KROSNO offers glass produced mechanically and manually. The latter generates 40% of its revenue. The company's exports amount to 70% of the company's annual sales. Its products are sold mainly to the American, German and British markets. Even though the company has been undergoing bankruptcy proceedings since 2009, mainly due to currency options, KROSNO increased its revenue to PLN 227 million last year. The company employs 2200 people.
