Cranston Consulting Limited was established in 2010 by Sydney Cranston. His career started in 1990 when he joined a small Belfast Based consultancy whilst completing a part time degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. After attaining a First Class Degree followed by Chartered Status with the Institution of Structural Engineers, he established MCA partnership in 2001. After nine successful years in private practice, during which time he graduated with a Masters in Business, he felt it was time to go it alone. No matter what the size of project, every project is managed by the Practice Principal from start to finish. This provides our clients the confidence that their project is given the attention it deserves, and the resources necessary to provide an optimum solution. Designing in Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Load-Bearing Masonry and Timber as well as specialised materials such as Glass and Aluminum, we can develop cost effective design solutions for your project whatever the size and complexity. We put a strong emphasis on the commercial viability of our designs and work closely with the client and design team through each step of the design process. We aim to provide a first class service and are fully committed to offer the best structural engineering support available. All of our Engineers are Chartered Members of the Institution of Structural Engineers. Increasingly, sustainability is a key factor in deciding the design approach for new sites, buildings and structures.
