Kudret Metal Smelting Industry and Trade Inc. founded in 1988, is one of the substantial investments in Turkey located at Akpinar, Inonu County, Eskisehir. Landed on a closed area of 14.000 m², with an open area of a 293.000 m² total, Kudret Metal started its first activity by recycling lead-acid batteries. At present the company provides its services with its lead- acid recycling unit, antimony processing unit, lead shot processing unit for hunting and sporting cartridges and plastic granule processing unit. In 2005 ISO 9001 quality improvement processes and quality management system implementations gave a start and in 2006 the related certificates were successfully obtained. At present, activities are taken under with updated certificates under ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems. Since our core business is recycling, it is our obligation to give essential care to the environment and to human health. Along with the developing technology we believe that we provide contribution to our country's economy by our work. We believe that by recycling lead-acid batteries which have filled their life time, we express our respect to human kind and nature. For this reason it is one of our main objectives to take all necessary precautions to provide recycling and elimination of all types of wastes in the most appropriately manner. Battery Manufacturers and Recycling Industrialists coming together have founded an association named AKUDER (Accumulator and Recycling Industrialists Association). Kudret Metal is proud to be one of the founding members.
