KÜMAŞ Magnesite Industry Co. Kütahya-Eskişehir and Bilecik located in the triangle of the natural magnesite ore, sinter magnesite, producing basic refractory bricks and mortar to bring Turkey's economy, iron and steel, cement and so on. was established as a joint stock company in 1972 in order to cut the import dependence of the sectors and start the exportation in this field. It started its sinter magnesite production in 1976, became an integrated company with the brick factory established in 1990 and started its fused magnesite production in 2008 and continued its growth adventure. Today, it produces sinter magnesite, fused magnesite, fused oxychrome and calcined magnesite derivative products produced from natural magnesite ore which is famous for its high quality microcrystalline crystal structure to the market as industrial raw materials. It is also an integrated factory producing magnesite, dolomite and alumina based refractory bricks and mortars as the final product in brick and mortar plants. It reflects the advantage of supplying its raw materials from its own quarries and thus providing continuity in production, high quality and cost control to its customers.
