In 2016, JLA merged with Burnett + Young Shoring Engineers, the premier shoring design firm in the Greater Los Angeles area. in 2018, JLA started its Civil Engineering division. By offering vertically-integrated Structural, Civil, and Shoring Engineering Design services, JLA is able to simplify the design and coordination process, providing services efficiently for any one discipline, or all three.
