VEDEQSA INC was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of VEDEQSA following the approval of a new food preservative in USA, LAE ® (Lauric Arginate) approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) on September 1, 2005: GRAS Notice No. . GRN000164 and the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) FSIS Directive 7120.1 as preservative ingredient on October 13, 2005 and as a processing aid in overall raw meat including poultry on February 10, 2007. Both records, FDA and USDA, were obtained by LAMIRSA on the dates indicated above.
