Lampre
Lampre is synonymous with pre-coated steel. The name itself derives from the abbreviation of LAMiere ("Steel" in Italian) and PREcoated, and indicates an industrial idea dedicated to continuous coating of hot-rolled steel. Since the 1990s Lampre began its internationalization strategy aimed to get closer to local needs and to contain transport costs. The new production plant of Lampre Polska brings to seven the total number of lines, of which four are in Lampre Italy, one in Lampre Portuguesa and one in Lampre Benelux. The recent opening of Lampre Turelik, the Turkish service center, and of Lampre USA, hub of distribution for North America, improve our ability to interpret the needs of a market in constant evolution. The two Italian services centers, Lamital and Lamfer, complete Lampre's strategic investment goal which is dedicated to meeting the full needs of our customers. Lampre believes that the constant reinvestment of resources in new technologies and in production processes is the foundation to maintain its leadership role in the field of pre-coated metal. The company dedicates to R&D 5% of our staff and more than 3% of the annual turnover, of which 40% is dedicated to the development of eco-sustainable products. Lampre has developed into a worldwide network operating in all major global markets by providing superior customer service and consistent quality products. Despite the fact Lampre has today become multinational corporation, the company is proud to maintain those principles upon which the company was founded. Lampre is a company whose name is known to the general public also thanks to the cycling team that for 20 years has been bearing our name on the roads all around the world.
