Langston Concrete

Langston Concrete was established in 1994 residing in the mountains of Westcliffe, Colorado. The company's scope of operation at the time was focused on residential concrete work and eventually expanded to incorporate nearly every aspect of construction including earthwork, utilities, industrial concrete, trucking, aggregate crushing and surface mining. Langston Concrete incorporated in 2000, to become Langston Concrete, Inc. (LCI). With an emphasis on quality workmanship, customer satisfaction and a "can do" attitude, the company continued to grow. Diversification into other areas of concrete work, including decorative concrete finishes, concrete stamping and customized residential applications and has afforded LCI recognition in a variety of market segments. Expansion into industrial and commercial projects was the next step in the evolution of the company. In 2005, LCI ventured into the industrial concrete projects market with a contract to provide concrete and excavation services for a cement plant construction project in Pueblo, Colorado.Hard work and dedication on the part of LCI employees, as well as an excellent safety record, positioned the company to be awarded additional contracts at the cement plant project. In 2007, LCI moved the office location from Westcliffe to Canon City, CO and in 2010, moved again to Pueblo, CO. Our new office in Pueblo provides an ideal location, right on the interstate, to better serve our clients. The reputation that LCI has enjoyed over the years continues to expand throughout new markets, opening the doors to new opportunities and new challenges. To this day, LCI continues to service customers in the residential and light commercial markets, while developing the resources to compete effectively in the areas of earthmoving, excavating, trucking and surface mining. The addition of our new Cedarapids mobile crushing and screening plant in 2008 has expanded our line of services to better meet the needs of our customers. LCI currently employs a workforce of nearly forty-five full time employees. People are our most valuable assets, and they are the foundation upon which LCI continues to build. Most all of LCI's employees are certified and compliant with MSHA Part 46 regulations for surface mining and MSHA Part 48 for special materials mining. A comprehensive training and development program assures that all of our employees are up to date on the most current safety practices used on today's work sites. Looking toward the future, LCI is expanding across the Colorado Front Range and to projects in neighboring states, now being licensed in Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Arizona. Diversified markets, a regional approach, excellent customer service, quality and craftsmanship are the foundation upon which Langston Concrete, Inc. will continue to build into the future.
