La Pernice produces fruit and vegetables that are typically from Southern Italy and distributes them throughout Italy and abroad. The company has its main office in Apulia, in an uncontaminated area located between the cities of Turi (Bari) and Mottola (Taranto). It is spread over 300 hectares of direct crops and 10000 square metres of offices and structures for the refrigeration, preservation, washing and packaging of its products. Since 2005, the company has put into effect a program with interventions aimed at improving the company processes, obtaining the British Retail Consortium and International Food Standard Certifications.
