Last Mile Health
Last Mile Health's mission is to save lives in the world's most remote communities. The organization has worked for more than a decade to support governments to build national community health systems. Currently, Last Mile Health, in partnership with the Government of Liberia, supports over 3,000 community health workers as part of a national program that will serve 1.2 million Liberians by 2021. In addition, the organization is now working to scale this work globally through the Community Health Academy, which was launched with the 2017 TED Prize.
