Laurel Circle

Arbor Glen is a Friends (Quaker) organization. Our philosophy has strong roots is the long Quaker history of acting out of religious concerns in the wider world. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, more than 20 programs for the aging have been developed by Quakers, beginning early in the 19th century. Friends organizations have been known for being an integral part of social change with active involvement in civil rights movements, prison reform and women's rights. Arbor Glen has benefited from the advice and wisdom of four Quaker continuing care providers that have contributed, and continue to contribute, to the development of Arbor Glen and support its mission. We express deep concern for the dignity and spiritual worth of each person. All people being equal, deserving respect and independence is the philosophy behind Arbor Glen's core values and our commitment to building caring communities.
