LavaCon

LavaCon was founded in 2002 to educate managers and team leaders on how to develop technical communication projects. Our program has expanded over the years to include sessions on project management, content strategies, how to leverage social network and new media technologies, and more. The conference was originally held in Hawaii (hence our name) so attendees can get away from back-to-back deadlines and de-stress long enough to take care of their corporate and professional development. Now the "main" conference is held somewhere on the mainland US and a graduate event is held in Hawaii. (Our next graduate event is scheduled for late April 2012 in Honolulu.
