The LCS Staff members are committed to assisting families in their time of need. Our family program is designed to empower and improve families. Each family has requirements they must meet. The requirements include, but are not limited to: Each participant must sign a contract with the Family Program case manager that agrees to the following: Participation in the Back To Work program, or other programs such as workforce center or life skills. Participation in the LCS Family Program savings plan. Families are required to save a portion of their paycheck, SSI check, TANF (cash assistance), or or other income, to aid in the attainment of housing. The amount to be saved will be determined by the family and their case manager. Compliance and/or participation with the Lawrence Housing Authority programs and guidelines. Participation in random drug screening. All program requirements are intended to empower families financially, socially, and emotionally. The following services will be provided by LCS, with the focus on strengthening and supporting the family bond.
