Care for Pastors has partnered with Florida Hospital to provide the Clergy Wellness Initiative, and special part of their Healthy 100 Churches program. Florida Hospital is a Seventh Day Adventist Group, and they have a program model that focuses on the body, mind and soul. In the Clergy Wellness Initiative, Florida Hospital is helping pastors and their spouses achieve a greater state of physical health. At the same time, Care for Pastors is helping those same pastors and their spouses achieve a greater health in mind and soul. In the Clergy Wellness Initiative, Care for Pastors has a year-long theme focusing on empathy fatigue and includes: an initial online survey an assessment of need session at our National Ministry Center in Leesburg, FL monthly touchpoint sessions on the phone to encourage continued progress toward the programs goals a mid-point training session for the pastors and their spouses more monthly touchpoint sessions on the phone to encourage continued progress toward the programs goals a final session at our National Ministry Center in Leesburg, FL an exit survey online to help show and measure growth from the year's program involvement It is a tremendous privilege to partner with the largest admitting hospital in the world, who is exercising great efforts to help people live to be healthy at 100 years of age. Care for Pastors is also committed to a preventative care for pastors and their spouses. Currently Care for Pastors assists more pastors who need redemptive care than preventative, however our nonprofit organizational goals over the Next 1,000 Days have our highest priorities focused on helping more pastors and their families preemptively, hoping to keep them from ever needing redemptive care. This partnership with Florida Hospital evidences our organizations capabilities and commitments to care for pastors, both in prevention and redemption.
