LTS Pvt

The LTS University was created by Worcester based lean training company Lean Transition Solutions Ltd (LTS) in partnership with Dunlop Systems and Components Ltd, (Dunlop). Lean implementation courses offered at the site are be endorsed by the University of Coventry and accredited to deliver certificate, diplomas and foundation degrees. In addition ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) accreditation is being sought. Brett Griffiths, Director of LTS comments, "The collaboration with Dunlop has enabled us to dramatically improve our delivery performance and overall customer service. By continually seeking to innovate, we are able to ensure that our customers get the optimum learning experience through our university, supported by the LTS development academy." The Lean University uses common classroom training approaches and workshops in conjunction with a simulation room which is designed to simulate elements of lean through problem solving, kanban, flow etc. using specially designed training tools. These tools were originally developed for companies such as Audi and Lufthansa. In addition, the application area is designed to model the actual working environment for lean, allowing associates to apply lean in the workplace. LTS were formed in June 2009 and have clients in different market sectors, manufacturing, construction, financial services, and healthcare.
