The Leprosy Mission Hospital

The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) is a 142 year old organization committed to the cause of serving persons with leprosy and the disadvantaged. In India TLMTI provides healthcare and allied community services across the country through its 14 community hospitals, several field projects and 6 vocational training centers. Overall Objective of the project : To increase the capacity of CSOs in 18 districts across four states in India to become independent change agents promoting disability inclusive development and socio-economic empowerment. The CDO is the strength of TLMTI community based activities at the field level to operationalise planned activities and projects. He/she will be the key facilitator to bring in the required changes among the people with whom TLMTI works - leprosy affected persons, persons with disability and the families that live below poverty line. All efforts would be to establish the institution of voluntarism at the community level to achieve the long term Goal of TLMTI.
