Lequa is derived from a number of organisations. During the past 12 years these organisations have contributed individually to the aim of establishing respect for basic human rights and legal equality in the digital environment. By 2010, these organisations joined forces under the Lequa brand. The objective has always been to strive for improved ways to interact and transact digitally, in a way that mirrors physical world interactions. The work has covered government and commercial demands focusing on identity, role management, and verification in digital interactions. The constituent organisations have been both commercial and non-profit. Today, Lequa offers a unique solution to support organisations in minimising IT project risks, time and costs and empower businesses with legal assurance in all digital interactions.
