With that in mind, in 1952, a family of brothers from Laredo, Texas opened a discount furniture store named LFD and gave Laredo what they wanted - beautiful furniture with an affordable price tag. With their success, word spread throughout South Texas and communities asked for more of LFD ... and LFD delivered! New stores began opening their doors in Eagle Pass, Rio Grande City, McAllen, and Brownsville! By 1987, LFD had opened up 6 furniture stores in South Texas offering their customers better quality furniture, specialized customer service, and better warranties and delivery that set them apart from other competitors. Today, our customers appreciate that 95% of LFD's advertised merchandise is always in stock and ready for immediate delivery, whether you choose to pick up your own merchandise from our centrally located state-of-the-art warehouse or have LFD deliver right to your door within only a few hours or days of your purchase.
