L.F. Jennings is a family-owned business driven by a passion for excellence and supported by experienced, talented employees. Founded in 1952 by Lawrence Floyd (L.F.) Jennings as a masonry contracting company, L.F. Jennings' reputation for quality grew with the company. With the help of his son, Larry T. Jennings, who joined in 1965, L.F. Jennings matured into a trusted DC area general contracting firm specializing in public projects. In the 1980s, L.F. Jennings began constructing larger scale private projects for commercial developers further increasing their experience and expertise. By the 1990s, L.F. Jennings firmly established its reputation for building top quality office and retail projects. In 1996, Larry's daughter, Larlyn Jennings, joined the firm followed by Larry's son, Jon Jennings, in 2000. Today, L.F. Jennings is led by Jon Jennings as President with a team of executives who have worked with the company for over 30 years. Having expanded to over 350 employees, L.F. Jennings continues to produce high quality work while standing as one of the top general contractors in the mid-Atlantic.
