These characteristics can be summed up in one word C.O.R.E and they are as follows: CONFIDENT: A successful collector must be confident in their ability to collect money from any person, in any situation. ORGANIZED: We have found that one of the most common traits, among the best collectors, is that they are all organized to some extent. They all have a unique system of tracking their payments and promises. Their day is planned out from the moment that they sit down at their desk. They set goals for themselves and organize the best possible way to achieve them. RESPONSIBLE: This category is very important because it covers so many aspects of the job. As a collector you have access to a lot of personal information, obviously it requires an extremely responsible person not to abuse that information. Collectors are bound by both Federal and State Laws, so you would not only be responsible for the laws, but also for the consequences that come with violating those laws. Attendance and punctuality are key factors for employment at LHR. They are also a big part of the responsibility category. You have to be responsible enough to come to work each day on time.
