Lighthouse General Insurance Company Limited and Lighthouse Life Assurance Company Limited are businesses licensed to write the Non-Life classes of accident, sickness and miscellaneous financial loss and Life, Annuity and Permanent Health respectively. Operating under European (EU) legislation concerning the regulation of insurance companies and provision of insurance within the EU, both entities are based in Gibraltar and insure risks in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. In Spain a branch for each company has been established in accordance with EU and local legislation.
