LIS is the only accredited International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (IBDP), Council of International Schools (CIS), New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and Council of International Education (CIE) on the island of Grand Bahama. This provides clear direction for our school community in an ever-evolving educational landscape and supports LIS in being able to offer large school opportunities in our small learning community. The school draws from both international and Bahamian families, with more than thirty nationalities comprising the student body and a teaching faculty of over ten nationalities.
