Live Salted

To see generations of women intimately pursuing Jesus and living in a way that inspires others to do the same. To see women with an authentic desire to get into the Word and apply the teachings of Jesus to their real world. To see women who know Jesus intimately spend time in the secret place and then live from that relationship in their communities. We want to see generations of women hungry for more of God! That God would use his platform to come alongside women from around the world and help them on their journey with Him. That all we do would be for His glory! "Now to Him who is able to do than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Back in 2016, Krista Hengesh started Live Salted her senior year of college out of the shed in her backyard, but that is for sure not where Live Salted began. As a ministry, we are so convinced that the Lord has planted seeds in all of our lives and He is tilling the ground and waiting for the perfect moment for them to grow. This was the case for Krista. She always knew she was called to the be Salt and Light, and when she went down to college to continue being that person she felt alone and isolated in her faith, questioning if it was even worth it to follow God when it seemed like everyone was against her. She turned online to find some resources based in Scripture and couldnt find any, which was the gap that God then called Krista to fill with creating Live Salted. When COVID hit, the Lord laid it on our heart to create community to help with the overwhelming sense of isolation and loneliness. Our team pivoted quickly, and since March 2020 we have launched 55 virtual small groups creating 55 opportunities for women to stand up and lead.
