Lix

Camilla Hessellund Lastein was a college student frustrated by her textbooks when she first came up with the idea for Lix. The books were so expensive, not to mention the fact that they were the "old-school" printed on paper type. She wanted to create a solution for students to be able to access digital textbooks and take notes, search and highlight them online-all at a lower cost than physical books. Today, the Lix app serves college students around the world, giving them instant access to more than half a million textbooks.
