Long Line Technology

Established in 2008, Long Line Technology provides Electrical Engineering, Design, Specification and Auditing services to electrical utility companies and industry. Our expertise and experience in the design, specification, construction and commissioning of EHV, HV and MV switchyards and power distribution networks enables us to offer our clients world class power solutions. We provide specifications, designs and drawings for all forms of electrical protection and control using all the major manufacturers (Areva, ABB, Reyrolle/VA-Tech/Siemens, etc) including protection schemes for overhead lines (Impedance protection), power transformers and generators (Differential and unit protection), power factor correction, buszone (low and high impedance). Our extensive experience of MV/LV networks and generation allows us to offer cost-effective power solutions to clients, including hazardous and special locations. Long Line Technology makes extensive use of CAD/CAE - computer aided design and engineering. Our design capabilities include civil works (Platforms, Foundations, Plinths and Control Rooms), mechanical works (steelwork, supports and control panels) as well switchyard layout and elevation designs. We provide specifications, designs and drawings for communications interfaces (F/O and PLC), SCADA and MMI (Modbus, CanBus, IEEE, Ethernet, etc).
