In 1967, in the town of Ticino, the dream of two men, Juan Lorenzati and Abel Ruetsch, began to take shape. With great will and courage, they managed to lay the foundations for the development of a group of companies that currently occupy a predominant place in the production of peanuts, cereals and oilseeds in Argentina and around the world. They had the visionary capacity to imagine and develop a project that, to this day, has been progressing and growing for more than 50 years, defending values such as integrity, innovation, commitment, quality and sustainability. The beginnings of the company go back to the family house, where management tasks were carried out. In its backyard was the first silo containing the harvest of the area. The purchase of a truck and the incorporation of Hugo Greppi and Norberto Acastello gave way to the start of the first partnership, which initially had 8 employees. As time went by, already in the 1970s, the first lands were acquired; to this day, after so many years, they are still part of the industrial site. From that moment on, the company started processing peanuts and was able to enhance the development linked to this production. During the 1980s, the headquarters located in Arroyo Cabral were put into operation. Here is where the collection and conditioning of cereals and oilseeds takes place. Halfway through the decade life took an unexpected turn and the second generation was left in charge of the company. They kept true to the history and trajectory of the founders and they became the driving force that continues with the legacy of their predecessors. The 1990s marked an important innovation process, with strong technological incorporation. This way, the production of blanched peanuts began and it became the company&s;s main export product, thus opening the doors to new markets and generating advances in the deepening of processes of overall productive quality and new ways of doing business.
