Lishman Sidwell Campbell & Price

The firm of Lishman Sidwell Campbell & Price originated in 1939. We are accountants working from 16 offices along the Great North Road from London to Middlesbrough and particularly well placed to serve the business communities in the North of England. We act for a wide range of clients throughout the country in many industries, professions and trades and we have particularly made a specialisation out of acting for local businesses and representing large farms and estates. We think of ourselves as business partners and are always looking for ways to help you. Kenneth Lishman of Knaresborough began in sole practice in 1939, and continued until 1959 when Clifton Sidwell joined him in partnership. This firm merged with K D Campbell & Co of Ripon in 1967. Barrie Price, our senior partner, joined K D Campbell & Co in 1962. At the date of the merger in 1967 the firm had offices in Harrogate, Ripon and Boroughbridge. Since then we have expanded steadily and have opened further offices, most recently in London and Rome. At the same time as demand for normal accounting and taxation services were increasing rapidly, so also was demand for more detailed management advice. In 1978 we established Slouand Limited, management consultants - we then changed the name in 1994 to Lishman Sidwell Campbell & Price Limited. This company was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants' prestigious register of management consultants in 1982. Plans for the future include further expansion of our office network nationally and internationally and widening the range of services offered to clients.
