The company expanded its services when the market showed the demand from general contracting, and construction management, to include expert design build services. Luke Draily hired its own architect to round out its stable of project managers, superintendents and estimators to offer "one-stop-shop" or single-source delivery to developers and tenants. Luke Draily becomes involved at the inception of the commercial project, working with its own architect or the client's architect, to ensure the design fits the construction and budget requirements. "Often, builders are called to the table late in the design process, and the client is stuck with a design that requires multiple change orders, exceeds their budget, or takes too long to build," says Becker. "We are involved from the beginning to ensure the design is feasible and to prevent the client, the architect and the builder from spinning needless cycles that cost everyone time and money. The firm has experienced explosive growth over the last decade due largely to repeat business. Their clients list the firms adherence to old world values as a significant factor. Luke Draily began its first project for Dickinson Theaters in 1997, and the construction company has now completed more than 130 screens on Dickinson's behalf.
