St. Luke's United Methodist Church

St. Luke's has made a significant commitment to missions over the years. However, in 2014 the commitment is huge in many ways. Through our 4D visioning in 2011, we acknowledged that one of the things we do well is missions and so we decided to take it up a notch. As you know by now, in January 2014 the first set of funds were released for the Community Transformation Initiative in East Winter Garden. Hopefully, you have read the recent dedicated e-newsletterabout what has been happening in East Winter Garden. However, that has not meant that our other mission ministries in Orlando and with our Global Mission partners have stopped. You will read throughout this newsletter stories about what is happening in Orlando and from one of our recent mission teams to Belfast. More to come soon on other local and global ministries. St. Luke's Staff Parish has approved additional staffing to support these efforts.
