Lumasense has a rich history in the Middle East founded in relationships built over decades and earned through professional business transactions that have contributed to the growth and character of the Middle East lighting market. The roots of the company formation began with Adel Kanaan who spent almost two decades with General Electric - Saudi Arabia including General Manager Operations. Adel's advanced his commitment to the lighting industry when he managed Hubbell Lighting's international channels globally including driving the commercial and industrial lighting infrastructure of the Middle East at that time. In 2004 Lumasense was initially formed, by Adel and his son Michael, as a value-added partner for Color Kinetics. More than a decade later Lumasense remains a highly productive Certified Value-Added Partner of Philips Lighting Solutions as well as operating as a Master Lighting Distributor and Value-Added Reseller for a portfolio of solution-based lighting and controls manufacturers. Lumasense has direct operations in both North American and in strategic locations throughout the Middle East.
