WHERE DID THE NAME LUNYA COME FROM? Lunya is a play on the Swedish word lugna, meaning to calm. It is pronounced beautifully as, lunya, so we decided to drop the g for a y. Since Lunya also resembles the Latin, luna, meaning moon, it couldn't be more perfect for sleepwear.
