Lute Supply has grown from a single small location in Portsmouth, Ohio into a multi-branch multi-state wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating and cooling, kitchen-bath products that currently operates locations in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Indiana. Lute Supply was ranked 40th in the U.S.A. in HVAC distribution and ranks in the Top 150 Premier Wholesalers in the country. The company also earned a Sales Leader Award from Goodman Mfg. a leading manufacturer of residential heating and cooling equipment. Still family owned, Chairman / CEO, Chris Lute and President / COO, Jason Lute represent the second and third generations of Lute family management. Brian Hancock is Senior Vice President. Mike Bentley is Director of Finance and Administration. The company employs nearly 100 sales, support, administrative and management professionals. Locally Chris Bishop is Branch Manager and Zach Pollard is Assistant Branch Manager. The company held its official Grand Opening of Phase I of the Rosemount facilities in June 2010. Several hundred friends, guests and vendors from around the country joined in a week long celebration. The steady growth of the company continued in 2010 with the opening of the company's Corporate Offices and Headquarters in the Rosemount, Ohio facilities that also houses the company's flagship store. The facility of nearly 100,000 square feet has now been completely renovated to provide much needed additional warehousing, kitchen bath and lighting showroom and now includes a new fireplace heater display center. The largest addition to the Company's offering has been the new hardware and tool departments. More than 22,000 new products have been added are now available. The local shopping convenience has been well received by the community. New seasonal products such as mulch, salt, snow melt, generators, heaters and many other products have been a huge hit. Lute Supply plans to open new check-out lanes in spring 2011. The additional lanes will provide faster checkout and more convenience to the public. Also, Lute Supply is converting all of its warehouses and sales facilities to a new bar code scanning system that will increase accuracy and speed order processing.
