Lyric Media is an independent production company with expertise in digital technology focusing on non-linear editing and digital video encoding. We are particularly interested in the development of historical documentaries involving the utilization of archival material, with an eye to the preservation and dissemination of important primary sources. Our primary editing tool is Final Cut Pro HD, a state of the art digital video production system that includes the best quality graphic tools for processing archival still images and footage. We also have expertise in a range of additional video, graphic and encoding tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, 3D Studio Max, Compressor, Cleaner XL and Flash. Lyric also develops a range of computer graphics software including plugins for Final Cut Pro HD and 3D Studio Max and provides consulting services for the development of custom graphics software. In addtion Lyric provides training material and services for MAXScript, the scripting language in 3D Studio Max.
