Our CEO Andrew Veitch co-founded Diet Chef, the third fastest growing company in the UK according to The Sunday Times FastTrack 500. Andrew still hadn't found an affordable database marketing solution that offered the functionality he needed. Now, our team is developing the solution Andrew wished he'd had when he was recruiting 1 million customers, from his garage, for Diet Chef. With VC funding from Techstart Ventures and additional backing from Scottish Enterprise, British Business Bank and Angel Investors, Machine Labs launched on the Shopify App Store as a Top Pick in May 2020. Our focus is on the underdog. We teach our users how to contact the right people, at the right time, with the right message, empowering every small store owner with big machine learning, at an affordable price point. We're shaking up the Shopify app store; in October 2020 we were selected for Tech Nation's Applied AI program and BusinessCloud's Scotland Tech 50. Our plans for the future are vast: we're progressing through our roadmap at a rapid pace and our customer base is expanding faster than we could have ever anticipated - watch this space!
