Established in Melbourne in 1988 by Managing Director and sheet metal craftsman, Gordon Tait, and Creative Director, Susan Tait, we have a long and proud history of collaboration and mentorship. Through our work with talented local designers, both friends and colleagues, we produce collections that are of the moment yet designed to last a lifetime. Our design philosophy is shaped by our strong heritage of making and manufacturing, inspiring the creation of beautiful and original outdoor furniture. Each piece begins with an idea, a concept that is refined, resolved and then prototyped by our team of committed craftspeople in our Melbourne factory. This allows us to focus on quality, developing collections that are sophisticated in design and construction.
